Repairability vs. thin design
A device can feel impressive the first time you lift it, then frustrating the first time a battery fades or a port breaks. Thin design promises portability and a clean silhouette. Repairability promises a longer useful life and fewer surprises after the warranty ends. Neither goal is automatically better, but the trade-off deserves more attention before a purchase.
